We are based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and we handle personal data in a manner consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
By using the Site or submitting your information to us, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your details.
1. Who we are (Data Fiduciary)
For the purposes of the DPDP Act, FutureCorp Academy is the "Data Fiduciary" responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed. You can reach us at info@futurecorpacademy.in or on +91 8459542997.
2. What data we collect
We only collect data you choose to give us or that is needed to run the Site. This includes:
- Account details — your name and email address when you sign up or log in, including when you choose to sign in with Google.
- Enquiry and enrolment details — your name, email address and mobile number when you fill in a contact form, request a course or internship roadmap, ask for a demo, or apply for a program.
- Newsletter email — the email address you provide to subscribe to updates.
- Comments — the name, optional email and comment text you submit on our blog (comments are reviewed before they appear; your email is never published).
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, device/browser type and pages visited, used to keep the Site secure and working.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive financial information (such as card numbers) through the Site.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your account and provide access to our courses and services;
- Respond to your enquiries, share course/internship details, and follow up about programs you have expressed interest in;
- Send you updates, offers and newsletters where you have subscribed (you can opt out any time);
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site;
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
4. Legal basis and consent
Under the DPDP Act we process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you submit it, and for the specified, lawful purposes set out above. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below); withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a small number of cookies and local storage entries that are necessary for it to function — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use these to build advertising profiles. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
6. How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
- With trusted service providers who help us operate the Site (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations and only to the extent needed;
- With Google, when you choose to sign in using your Google account, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy;
- Where required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid government request, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to provide our services, and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
8. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls and restricted administrative access — to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to address any incident promptly.
9. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate or outdated data;
- Erase your personal data where it is no longer needed;
- Withdraw consent to further processing;
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
- Raise a grievance about how your data is handled.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@futurecorpacademy.in. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Children's data
Our services are intended for students and professionals. Where a user is a child (under 18) under Indian law, we require verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing their personal data, in line with the DPDP Act. If you believe a child has provided us data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Site may link to external websites (for example, our social media or partner pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
